Covid Diaries

Lockdown 4.0 has proved to be the most unproductive for me. I have missed most of my personal targets and even the exercise schedule was a bit disturbed. WhatsApp has been a big drag. Losing the track of work was big off for me. However, one positive thing about this phase was the time spent at home with family members.

Corona has picked up the pace. It is not a fatal disease and chances of survival are high for people who do not have any comorbidity. Corona has turned the life upside down. All the things we learned after years of conditioning need to be unlearned like being sociable, treating the guest with honor, etc. However, the challenge lies in the scale and the possibility of a breakdown of health infrastructure. The way it is spreading, and given the demographics of India, every one of us needs to be prepared to face it sooner or later.

There are a lot many things happening in recent times. Corona Outbreak, frequent low-intensity earthquakes, Cyclon Amphan, Locus attack in Rajasthan and Delhi, other flu attacks, and heatwaves show the fury of nature. And if it was less, then China-US cold war, breakdown of the economy, and a potential decade of depression have shaken the entire world. For other countries, this could be a crisis of health infrastructure but for India, it is a fight for survival. A war footing measure is required to deal with this crisis situation. Let's hope, the country is able to gather its wit and energy to fight it in a united fashion.
